Ok guys, lets hope the UEFA Cup doesn't screw us this time around.

UEFA Cup

-Belgrad vs Bolton-
I know Bolton is missing a lot of key players here, but I get the feeling that this might be a good thing. Those key players haven't done shit this season, and I think there are going to be players trying to prove a point out here. Bolton have had 3 draws for the group stages, and a loss would be a pretty bad result, especially if Braga beat Aris. I think having Bolton with some hungry players coming out on the pitch will be more of a positive rather a negative for missing the big guns.

-Anderlecht vs Tottenham-
Tottenham are still conceding a lot of goals, they won't have much pressure on themselves for this game, as a draw would send them through. Anderlecht is looking for a win to send them through. I'm riding the Tottenham "over" streak and hoping to see some more defensive mistakes on their part.

Copa Italia

-Empoli vs Juventus-
Empoli has been doing very bad this season, BUT, they've been actually doing good against the "BIG" teams, even taking a win at the San Siro as well against AC Milan. The Empoli coach claims he is going to rest some players, but I don't care who you are, when you play a big team like Juventus you have extra motivation to take the upset. I think Empoli are going to be able to hold a Juventus team with Trezeguet to a draw here and give themselves some confidence to get some points in the Serie A.

Bolton missing Anelka, Kevin Davies, Kevin Nolan, Andy O'Brien, Ricardo Gardner, Ivan Campo and Jussi Jaaskelainen. To say these players haven't done much and to think they're replacements will fair better is a little crazy. Its not like Bolton has a deep bench full of quality.

Red Star has a formidable home record and it seems Bolton is more or less conceding defeat here.

Well its obvious that I'm going to sound crazy by saying that I feel like those players right now aren't a big loss, but look throughout Bolton's season, other than Anelka's only goal against Manchester United, it's not like Rooney missing from Manchester or Messi missing for Barcelona, I mean, how many times have we seen key players come out with their replacements coming in trying to make a statement and win games? I just feel that these players haven't been huge for me, and if anything their replacements can pick up another draw to go along with the many they've already had =)

Good day today guys. Empoli and Bolton both held as the Tottenham game couldn't find just 1 more goal to hit that over. Went 2-1 on the day with a +3.96 come up =)

nice call on Bolton, didn't expect them to win. Bolton were there ugly mediocre selves but Red Star were quite poor, didn't muster a single chance in the second half.
